In other news, A Blaze In The Northern Sky is twenty years old today. An absolute classic, this record is the epitome of second wave black metal. Darkthrone are one of my personal all time favourite bands - from their early harsh and raw as fuck sound, to the more recent black ‘n’ roll style.
